The Guardian of the Gold Mines

Part lion and part eagle, the Griffin guards treasure and priceless possessions, and is known as the Guardian of the Gold Mines. This beautiful Griffin, designed by Joel Horn, is perched in a circle of silver and holds a simulated ruby in his talons.

As we have only one of these beauties here in the Rugged Canyon, we're not putting it on the Horn’s Jewelry website. Instead, we’re trying something new. Joel has become quite the eBay shopper of late, so he’s posted the Griffin pendant on eBay. This pendant is cast of solid sterling silver and measures a little over 1¾ inches in diameter.
